Healthy Congregations
Crossroads supports the Lansing Middle School food pantry through ongoing collection of canned goods, boxed foods, and cereal. This Lions Pantry serves students who qualify as food in need. Crossroads members help manage the Pantry and prepare the weekly distribution of care packages. This Crossroads Ministry has expanded to provide fresh fruits and vegetables.
Joining
Are you interested in joining Crossroads UMC? Be inspired to join as you find out about the church’s story, what it means to be a Christian, and what it means to be a member of the church. You’ll meet others who are thinking about joining the church and you’ll have a chance to formally join the church if you choose to do so. If you are interested, contact the Pastor at 913-727-1044.
Looking to the future:
Prayers: Pray for those who grieve, especially for people who grieve without the hope of the promises of God.
Daily Prayer: God of love and power, breakthrough into my life. Help me to be willing to be willing. Help me discern where your Spirit is leading me and Your church. Work through me to spread the light of Christ to our neighbors and to the world. Not as I will, but as Your will. Amen.
